Equine Outreach Inc. was founded by Joan Steelhammer, a top Bend, Oregon Real Estate Broker, with the assistance of her husband, Realtor and contractor Gary Everett.
Equine Outreach is based on Joan's life-long passion for animals. For over 30 years she has been involved in animal rescue and her commitment has resulted in the formation of this organization dedicated to assisting horses in need.

Non-Profit Organization
Equine Outreach Inc. is a registered non-profit organization working closely with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Department, several other sheriffs in central and eastern Oregon, the Forest Service, BLM, local Humane Societies, other equine organizations and local veterinarians. EOI is a horse rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation organization.
