Equine
Outreach has established an equine
shelter facility located just east of Bend and near the Bend Airport.
One of EOI’s main goals is to rehabilitate horses in need
for placement into responsible and compassionate homes. Their adoption
procedures are designed to ensure that the rescued horses go to
homes where they will receive appropriate and loving care. They
work closely with the new owners to answer their questions and provide
as much information about equine well-being as possible. Any horse
adopted from EOI cannot be re-sold without first contacting EOI.
If for some reason the adoption does not work out, they will help
the new owner find an alternative home or, if necessary, bring the
horse back to EOI. |
